Really no retainer? How do I know you won't disappear on us after a year?+
No retainer. After handover your team gets full documentation in your language and video tutorials. All code is in your GitHub org — if you later decide to hire someone else for expansion, you show them the repo and they can start working immediately. No vendor lock-in.
What if we find a bug six months later? Will we have to pay for that?+
Simple rule: **my bug → my fix, always, for free, no time limit**. If a defect lies in code I wrote, I fix it as part of the project price — whether a month or three years after delivery, no difference. I'm accountable for what I deliver. Payment only applies if the bug arose from changes you (or someone else) introduced after handover — then T&M, but I can still help if you want. This rule is in the contract, not just a promise.
What if after a year we want to add a new language or country ourselves?+
You'll do it yourselves, without calling me. The design system and i18n framework are built to scale. Adding a new language typically takes 2-3 days of your team's work (after training). A new country site on the shared codebase — ~1 week. You add content, deployment is automatic.
How does payment work?+
Fixed price per project, milestone-based payment — 100% of each phase paid before the next begins. VAT invoice (Polish sole proprietorship, +23% VAT for Polish clients). You never carry me for a month — but I never carry you either.
How long does the whole project take?+
Depends on scope. Simple single-language site: 4-6 weeks. Multi-country platform (4 countries with separate legal requirements): 12-14 weeks. Discovery + POC (if needed) adds 2 weeks. You get concrete timelines in the proposal — no fake deadlines.
What if we picked the wrong stack and want to migrate in 2 months?+
That's why we do Phase 0 (POC) — 3 tech proposals with 3-year TCO, decision doc for the board. Informed choice, not shooting in the dark. But if in a year you decide on a different stack — the code is yours, documentation is yours, nothing holds you back. Another dev takes the repo and works.
What does site maintenance actually cost after handover?+
Target: ~0 PLN/month extra. The stack I set up is based on free tiers — Cloudflare Pages (hosting), GitHub Actions (CI/CD), Cloudflare Web Analytics (no cookies), Decap CMS / Sanity free tier. You only pay for domains (~50-80 PLN/year each) and Google Workspace if you already have it. Nothing more.
